In the payment schedules that list fees, a land registration fee of 4% is due at booking (1384 plans). Other fees vary by developer; we list them before you reserve.
Is my money protected when I buy off-plan?
In Dubai, payments for an off-plan unit go into an escrow account for the project, and the developer and project must be registered with the Real Estate Regulatory Agency. Other emirates have their own rules. We check the registration and escrow details of a project before you pay.
Can foreigners buy off-plan property in the UAE?
Foreign buyers can own property in the areas each emirate designates for freehold ownership, which include most new developments. We confirm the ownership terms of a specific project before you reserve.
Can buying off-plan lead to a Golden Visa?
Some property investors qualify for a UAE Golden Visa, depending on the property value and current rules, including how off-plan property is treated. We check the rules that apply on the day you reserve.
